Creator of GreenWorld

Hello everyone, my name is Jessica Towriss and I am the creator of GreenWorld.

Ever since a young age, I was always curious about our planet and all the different places, people, animals, and stories that there were. I was always trying to learn more about our planet and all the different things inside it. As I grew up, I started to learn that this place that we call home, is beyond spectacular, but there are so many things that we as humans are doing to destroy the only home we have. Which made no sense to me at all.

Over the years, I learned that so many people are in the dark and uneducated about the issues that effect our environment and simply did not care what impact they had on our planet, whether it was positive or negative. I used to be one of these people. I just went through my day, and had no cares in the world until I realized the damage I was doing. I thought about it like this, “If I am one person, doing all this damage because I am uneducated, imagine the damage from everyone in the world who is uneducated on the issues.”

This is why I started GreenWorld. I want to educate, inspire and make people realize the damage they are doing. We must start acting now, or there will be nothing left for us.
