Volunteering to help the environment is an easy and great way to make a positive change even within your community. GreenWorld believes that it begins with you. There is no way anyone can make a change to help the environment unless you start to help. Even by one person going around and picking up trash in their neighbourhood can make a huge impact. Here are some great things you can do to help the environment in your community.

Pick up trash in your neighbourhood

So many people are used to throwing their garbage out there car window or anywhere they please. Some people can’t wait to get home or find proper waste disposals to get rid of there trash. When going out for a walk, bring a reusable bag with you to pic up any trash you may see in your neighbourhood. Not only are you helping the environment by properly disposing of the waste, you are also making your neighbourhood like super clean!

Start a garden or plant a few trees

Trees give us fresh air to breathe!The best way to get the community involved in this is to make the garden a shared project for your neighbourhood or town. When planting trees, consider placing them in an area where members of the community can enjoy them.

Recycling fair

You could use the proceeds from bottles and cans and give it to an eco-friendly organization that needs donations

Educate others of the benefits of helping the environment

The more people the better! Start an environmentalist group in your community. This will help with the manpower and also will spread the word more.
